Tazos were a phenomena that no-one will forget in a hurry. We were bombarded with it and every snack food company was out for their dollars worth as they all tried the tazo “thang”.

Confession… I got sucked in by these silly things inside chip packets only because I always ate a lot of potato chips anyway. Being a recycle freak, surely it was a waste to throw such good ephemeral graphics on the chip packets out in the bin, so why not just press em and kept em??

I also joined and was a part of the Tazo Fan Club…. WTH? Yep, what a big kid huh? Well this big kid kept all his Tazo Newsletters and stuff and here is some of it to start with in these photos below.

Dose anyone know much about Digimon Digi-Clix collection. My wife worked for Smiths In the 90 and 2000 I have a lot of the promotional goods and collections starting from oddbods to Digimon Digi-Clix collection

Gday, Look there is a few in there I have doubles of it’s just that the collection includes thousands of packs, they are sorted, it just getting time. I am about to display many of them so when I go through I will remember youa re after some of them. Cheers, sorry I can’t oblige just now. Are you creating some sort of project or collection?

The “Oddbodz” craze along side the tazo craze was a pretty cool one to 🙂 Ah the joys of stumbling across a “hot” card

Anyone out there buy tazos or tazo related items (or trading cards) for good cheap fair prices
Got heaps that i have to clear out before an interstate move.. going to be fun sorting them all and doing up ebay listings (not)

That’s Mad…so they were released in Oz? Rare to see one but will keep on the lookout, always do for Tazo stuff I havent got!

I collected (still do find them occasionally) Tazos from the beginning (Pogs before that) and was wondering when this Tazo Fanclub ended?
They really did peak & fizzle out, turning into the non-round things & the other brands got in on it, with the Dragonball Z & those spinning ones (still called a Tazo but not really much like the original Tazos)
Only last week I found thrown out, a handful of Tazo & others. The Batman Tazo movie stills (sealed) and some of the Crumpet ones & others.

Hey Andrew. I rarely if ever see Tazos at garage Sales or Op Shops which surprises me, but as you say peeps throw em out thinking they worthless. I have HEAPS of Tazos, There is definetley some I need to complete the sets so I’m interested in swapping some if you need some for your missing ones … Now is probably the best time to complete any sets while they are still floating around, cause in another 30 years these will be highly desired in good nick and full sets… Many peeps reminisce and the Tazo phenomena will be one most will remember!
